Barcelona Gay Pride 2019
June 27th to July 3rd 2019

PRIDE Barcelona is an event for everyone, a space where collectively we can can be heard and become visible, a place to celebrate and make a stand. From here we want to send a message to the world:

We have to love ourselves more. We have to love the outsiders, the people around us, those who are different from us and also those who think differently from us. We also have to show more respect for ourselves, it is because love has thousands of shapes and colours. Many times that’s the only thing we need. A little bit of love. A hug. A smile.

Barcelona has always been a city with an open heart and respect for diversity. We cannot forget about this. It’s time to get this feeling back. We want to gout out and scream that there is love for everyone. No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, this is for you.

TRIP PLAN

Arrival to Barcelona and private transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Time to relax and explore your local area.

Once you’re settled down in your hotel, the Outstanding Travel  experience in Barcelona begins. Your guide will welcome you at your hotel reception desk in order to go through the planned activities schedule. After the necessary introductions, we will all have dinner together in one of our favorite restaurants in town. We will get to know each other with some tapas and some tasty wine or beer.

After dinner we will continue our tour through the most popular LGBTQ bars of the famous gay neighborhood of Barcelona, known as “Gayxample”, where we will find a wide variety of pubs and clubs.

Towards the end of the tour, at around 1am, we will offer you some final recommendations for you to attend the trendiest party venues or the more relaxed ones, since Barcelona has more than 25 years of experience in gay nightlife.

Modernism and Gaudí Tour with lunch

In this two and a half hours tour we will enjoy Barcelona’s modernist jewels. At the beginning of the tour, your guide will meet you at your hotel and we will visit Gaudí’s astonishing masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia, a temple that has spent more than 100 years under construction and will certainly leave you speechless. We will then access the Sagrada Familia for an inside tour.

After this, we will venture into the Eixample streets and discover other lesser-known spectacular architectonic jewels such as the Casa Calvet, the Casa de les Punxes, or the Casa Macaya. Following with this, we will visit the exterior of the most famous Modernist houses in the city, such as the Pedrera, the Casa Batlló, the Casa Amatller, and the Casa Lleó I Morera.

Towards the end of the tour we will have lunch in one of our favorite restaurants.

∙ 16:00h / 01:00h – Spare time, Pride Barcelona Village

Following the recommendations of your tour guide, after lunch you may enjoy everything Pride Barcelona has to offer, such as the high heels race, the Drag Queen competition, the foam party, and many more surprises.

∙ Spare time during the morning – Beach recommendation: Mar Bella Beach

Mar Bella is the most popular gay beach in Barcelona, and it’s also nudist! This beach is perfect to go have a nap and catch up on some sleep, meet some nice new people from all over the world.

∙ 16:00h – LGBTQ Pride Parade

Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel and you will go to the starting point of the Pride protest, where you will meet the rest of participants. We will offer you the best Pride float recommendations for those who wish to enjoy the float experience during the parade.

∙ 21:00h – 01:00h Special Pride Barcelona Party

After the parade, we will continue along the street in order to find the Pride area where the party will continue with shows, concerts, and DJ performances we can all enjoy together.

All street parties will finish before 2am, but the night will still go on for us. You will have an invitation to access one of the most famous gay parties in Barcelona, the ULTRAPOP session at the venue Sala Safari. This invitation guarantees free entrance and one free drink before the venue closes at 6am. A long night to celebrate and enjoy pride until the sun comes up!

Spare time during the morning

Gothic Quarter Tour

During 3 hours, you will discover some of the most emblematic places of the Gothic Quarter, the oldest neighborhood in Barcelona. It’s a perfect tour to venture into the most traditional side of the city. This neighborhood has spaces more than 2000 years old and we can still find some monuments with several centuries of history behind.

We will begin the tour by visiting the impressive Arco de Triunfo and the Ciutadella Park, where we will encounter the three dragons Castle, the Zoo, the Parliament, and an astonishing waterfall.

The Sant Jaume Square, the Jewish Quarter, the majestic Cathedral, the Plaza del Rey, the roman wall, the gothic church of Santa María del Mar, and the Paseo del Born, among many others.

Sitges Tour

Sitges is one of the most famous gay towns in Spain, and it’s only 40 minutes away from Barcelona. Sitges’s history, open society, picturesque streets, gay beaches, and party and leisure area turn this little town into one of the most popular gay destinations in the world.

We will meet you at yout hotel and travel to this special little town by bus. You will discover some of the most emblematic places in Sitges such as Cau Ferrat, the Maricel Museum, or the Bacardí house (all of which you will visit from the outside), until we reach the Church of San Bartolomé I Santa Tecla, where we will enjoy some of the best views in town.

At around 13:00h we will have lunch in one of the best local restaurants in front of the beach, and after lunch you will be able to choose whether to enjoy some beach time, visit some cultural buildings, or relax by the beach with a drink during the three spare hours we will have before our bus returns to Barcelona at around 18:00h.

Following an intense party and celebration week, many may enjoy some spare time to visit the beach. We will offer you some recommendations of what to do and what to visit in your spare time so as to not miss anything during this magical week in Barcelona.

Spare time – Beach recommendation: Sant Sebastià Beach

More relaxed than the big crowds at Mar Bella gay beach, the beach of Sant Sebastià is very popular with gay couples who come to one of the oldest beaches in the city to relax, enjoy beautiful bodies and astonishing views of the Barcelona skyline. Located next to the impressive W

Hotel, after sunbathing you can access their roof terrace where you will be able to enjoy some spectacular views of the city while sipping one of their cocktails.

We would all have earned a well-deserved resting day. By then you would already be familiar with the city thanks to our local tour guides and their valuable advice, which would help you enjoy your independent city visit during this last day of your holiday.
