Join our amazing group of gay tourists for an unforgettable journey through the Holy Land! During this trip, a successful collaboration of OUTstanding Travel and Detours for the past 5 years, you will experience the extravaganza of Pride Week in the Non-Stop City and explore all the highlights of Israel AND Jordan. From the golden gay boys at Hilton Beach to the rich history of Jerusalem’s Old City, including a stop in Masada, before a trip to our neighbor to the east, to float at the Dead Sea, see Petra, Jordan’s crown jewel and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and explore the Wadi Rum desert.

Day 1 June 1 - Arrival - Jerusalem

Shalom and welcome to Israel! Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, grab a cab and head to your hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 2 June 2 - Masada & the Dead Sea

Depart Jerusalem and head south through the Judean desert to the fortress of Masada. With the cable car we will ascend to the mountain top where lays the ancient fortress. Overlooking the biblical Moab Mountains, Masada was built in the year 30 BC by King Herod. Right there, at the top of the mountain, in the middle of the desert, discover the history of one the greatest Jewish symbols of hope and pride.
After our time at Masada, we'll drive across the international border into Jordan and find ourselves at our waterfront hotel right on the Dead Sea where we can lather ourselves up with nutrient-rich mud and float the afternoon away in the famous Dead Sea!

Day 3 3 June - Petra

Today we'll head to the world-famous site of Petra, the former capital of the Nabatean Kingdom, built around 300 B.C. Carved into the red rock, Petra was an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome.

Accessed via a narrow canyon the tombs and temples are carved into pink sandstone cliffs, giving an incredibly surreal background to your now drool-worthy social media posts! It's one of those rare moments in life that you'll always remember (and gush about). It's not just the treasury, which you've surely seen on countless magazine covers and screensavers, it's also the impressive hilltop monastery and many lesser know (but no less stunning) carvings. Our night here is spent just outside the gates of Petra, in the little town of Wadi Musa.

Day 4 June 4 - Wadi Rum

Jordan has no shortage of unique sites to soak in, so we'll continue the following day to the vast desert of Wadi Rum, famous for its dramatic sandstone mountains, deep caverns and Mars-like landscape - in fact many movies have used this area to film their Mars scenes! We'll be exploring this region using trucks and camels together with a local Jordanian guide, spending our evening of the trip at a remote camp in the desert under a sky full of billions of stars. Don't worry - your tent has all the comforts of a hotel room including an en-suite bathroom and A/C, but you won't be spending much time in there when a spectacular desert is literally on your doorstep!

Day 5 June 5 - Wadi Rum - Jerusalem

Today, we'll cross the border and head back to Jerusalem

Day 6 June 6 - Jerusalem

Travel back in time through the Jaffa Gate and start your day at the top of the Tower of David to enjoy the exquisite panoramic views of the Old and the New City. On this journey visit historical marvels and spiritual landmarks such as King David’s Tomb and the Room of the Last Supper, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Via Dolorosa, the recently restored Roman Cardo and, of course, the sacred Western Wall. You will find yourself wandering through the charming Armenian and Jewish quarters, the historic Christian quarter and the bustling Arab Market.

Day 7 June 7 - Jerusalem - Tel Aviv

Wander around the Holy City a bit more, before heading in the late afternoon to what we call "The Other City That Never Sleeps". And as you'll be arriving in Tel Aviv for Pride Weekend, that's true now more than ever!

Day 8 June 8 - Tel Aviv

Today you'll find out about our superb Gay community and experience Rothschild Boulevard, one of Tel Aviv’s most important and iconic streets. Located in the heart of the White City of Tel Aviv, Rothschild Boulevard is a commercial center, with major financial institutions, a cultural center, a theater and concert hall, a culinary center with dozens of top restaurants. Visit the lovely Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887, and the historical sites of Old City Jaffa, one of the oldest port cities in the world; soak up the ancient ruins and walk along the famous Artist's Quarter. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the nightlife and exquisite culture with our unique Gay perspective.

Day 9 June 9 - Tel Aviv Pride

Today show your Pride during the biggest and hottest pride in the Middle East. At night enjoy one of the many pride parties.

Day 10 June 10 - Departure

Following breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Ben Gurion International Airport for your flight back home with everlasting memories of Israel & Jordan.

Cancellation policy:

We will require a $500 non-refundable deposit upon booking and full payment 60 days before departure.
60 days prior to trip departure the entire trip becomes non-refundable. However, we can often retain a chunk of your paid amount for you to use on a future trip and this all depends on what we can negotiate back from our suppliers at the time of cancellation.

We do recommend taking Travel Insurance to cover any unforeseen events that would prevent you to partake in this trip; as well as the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of an accident or illness, loss of baggage and money, and other expenses.

It is your responsibility to fulfill the passport (which should be valid for six months beyond the intended length of your stay abroad), visa, and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You should confirm these with the relevant embassies and/or consulates. We do not accept any responsibility in the case of you being unable to travel due to not complying with any such requirements.

Payment:

It is our company policy to receive a $500 deposit upon booking, and full payment 2 months prior to arrival.
